CHICAGO -- I think even back in 1972 chicks dug the long ball, and a walk-off home runs sent them over the moon. White Sox players made it 2 in a row with Rick Reichardt (4) doing the honors in the B11th off Mickey Scott (0-1) with a man on, lifting Chicago to a 4-2 win. Ed Herrmann (1) also went deep in the 5th, answering a solo shot by Boog Powell (4) in the 4th. Steve Kealy (1-1) was the winner in relief for the Pale Hose.

CHICAGO -- Sunday catcher Tom Egan singled scoring a pair in the opening inning highlighting a 3-run outburst by the home club. Starting pitcher Tom Bradley (1-4) and reliever Vicente Romo and Dave Lemonds (1) made it hold up in a 3-2 White Sox win. Paul Blair's 3-4 day was wasted for the O's. Dave McNally (2-3) took the loss.

Believe it or Not -- Chicago also swept Baltimore in real life this weekend
