SF cools off Phillies, taking 2 of 3

Game 1: Philadelphia 7 San Francisco 2
W: Carlton (8-2)  L: Blue (5-5)
Phillies pulled off a triple play in the 1st inning to get out of a bases loaded, no out jam and it was downhill from there.  Jerry Martin and Jim Morrison homered off of Blue to give Carlton all the runs he needed.

Game 2: San Francisco 8 Philadelphia 5
W: Montefusco (6-3)  L: Lerch (6-4)
Philly led 5-2 early on homeruns by Schmidt & Luzinski, but Clark's 11th roundtripper in the 5th and a 3 run 7th put the visitor's ahead for good.

Game 3: San Francisco 7 Philadelphia 4
W: Halicki (4-1)  L: Lonborg (3-3)
San Fran staked Halicki to a 5 run lead in the top of the 1st, but the Phillies chipped away to make it 5-4 after 3 innings.  A two run shot by Darrell Evans in the 9th sealed the win for the G-men.
