Beer and Brats aplenty as ChiSox Blank Brewers

July 9, 1971
CHICAGO -- Andy Kosco (9) blasted a 3-run home run off Terry Forster (1-2) in the 8th to power Milwaukee to a 7-5 victory before a raucous crowd at Comiskey Park for $1 brats and beer weekend. Jim Slaton (3-3) started and won for the Brew Crew.

July 10, 1971
CHICAGO -- Tom Bradley (7-7) hurled 8,1 innings of shut out ball and the White Sox evened this Border War with a 7-0 whitewashing. Walt "No-neck" Williams drove in 3 runs with 2 hits, including an opposite field triple.

July 11, 1971 (Game #1)
CHICAGO -- The 3 B's of beer, brats and bats had the 45,000 plus Sox Park faithful in a frenzy after a 14-0 lid-lifter. Tom Egan (4 hits) and Mike Andrews (5 RBI) did the most damage at the plate. Tommy John (7-8) fired a 5-hit shut out almost under the radar.

July 11, 1971 (Game #2)
CHICAGO -- White Sox pitching completed the series by blanking the Brew Crew for the last 28 innings, including a 3-0 whitewashing in the nightcap, courtesy of Wilbur Wood (13-6). Carlos May provided the big blow with a 2-run triple in the B8th.
