Brewers Find Lefty Domination

5-0, 3.71 ERA
Game 1: Milwaukee 4 Boston 0: Jerry Augustine (5-0, 3.71 ERA)  picks up win number 5 on the season by shutting down the Red Sox in a well pitched 6 innings of play.  Randy Stein and Bob McClure chipped in to hold the Red Sox to no runs on the day.  Larry Hisle went 2 for 3 with a home run (6th)  and a double.  Gorman Thomas spanked his 4th homer of the season.

Game 2: Milwaukee 2  Boston 1:  Gorman Thomas went 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and drove in the eventual winning run in the second inning, as Milwaukee snuck by Boston 2-1.  Dwight Evans (5th) homered in the 7th inning to make it close.  The Brewers throw back to back lefties and this time it was Jim Caldwell who performed well.  Striking out 6 and getting his 2nd win of the season.  Milwaukee improves to 10-7.  Boston drops to 6-11.
